In a twist on the classic bedtime story, this book features a little boy who keeps trying to go to sleep but his robots keep resisting going to bed. With its ultimately recognizable plot, its fun robotic characters, and the clever rhyming language, this book is sure to be a hit with children and parents alike. The illustrations are beautiful works of art that go hand in hand with the text to tell the story. ( )

FANTASY: (primary)
This is an excellent version of fantasy because not only does it use magic, but it has a very relevant story that kids (and parents) can relate to. In the story there are 3 talking robots, who are being put to sleep by a young boy. Much like small children they constantly wake the boy up throughout the night, this behavior mirrors that of young kids.

This is a book about a little boy and his toy robots. He takes them through his nightly routine and when he is finished he finally gets to go to sleep. The book takes a turn when he realizes his robots are not quite ready for sleep and for the remainder of the book he spends time figuring out how to get his robots to sleep. With its colorful illustrations and rhyming this is definitely a great easy read for kids. ( )
