Told in flashbacks, Heather is currently an inpatient in a mental hospital with a severely injured hand. The flashbacks show that Heather went on a camping trip to Black cairn point with her best friend Emma and ger boyfriend Darren. Tagging along were two boys, Martin and Dougie (who Heather fancies)
Things start to go wrong when the car keeps stallling but they eventually get there and Dougie, Heather and Martin find a brooch which Dougie takes despite Heather's uneasy feeling.
Then Martin disappears and then Darren follows and Emma becomes catatonic. What is going on?
