I'm not going any further...I can see the handwriting on the wall (so to speak). Dark stories aren't my thing but I do like Mob stories. I don't really enjoy reading about the main characters being hurt/tortured. It took forever for Tor and Jude to hook up and share feelings with each other. Just a bit slow paced I think. I really don't like feeling this all could have been wrapped up in one (better) story. ( )

This was one of those books that I enjoyed the premise but found part of the story itself lacking. I was wanting more of a buildup with the characters before they were in love. Even though I struggled at parts of the story, it did intrigue me enough to keep reading so in that case the authors did their jobs.

I am curious to see where Jude and Victoria go next in the next book. ( )

******* An arc received on behalf of Obsessed by Books *******

I was intrigued whe I heard about this book as I have read previous works by LP Lovell. I was delightfully impressed.

I was hooked from the very first page, this book had everything I needed from being dark, suspenseful, sexy, hot and very very gritty.

Victoria is a strong woman, a fighter and she never gives up. After being traded as time for a debt to be paid, she is thrust into a world full of violence and also the most sexy, dark, complexed Jude.

Jude has never know any other life than the one he was born into that was full of violence, power and emotionless existence. Then he meets Victoria, and she starts to change his world. It confuses him and he hates being confused and also hates his feelings and emotions that she is bringing out of him.

This is a fantastic read and was one that I was unable to put down until I finished it. I know need answers and I need the next book so I can have those answers.

This is a definite must read and if I could allocate more stars I would. ( )

Wrong is a thrillingly Dark story that will have you on the edge of your seat. This book is very graphic and not for the faint of heart. Wrong is the story of Tor and Jude. This is not a love at first sight but LUST at first encounter. They must learn to live with the hand Fate has dealt them or succumb to it.
Tor is taken from a life she has worked hard for. She is now a prisoner of a man with little to no morals. However, she doesn’t plan to be willing victim; she will fight for her freedom even if that freedom can only been gotten through death. Whichever, chose she makes you has to make it soon, for time is running out?
Jude is a man that has things very close to his heart. He doesn’t see the world in right or wrong, but as what needs to be done. No, matter if by doing it he will ruin the hopes and dreams of others. That is until he meets Tor. She makes him want more feel more. However, just like for Tor time is running out and choices need to be made.
Overall, this story is a 4 star. I would have given it 5 but the story stalled to me at one point. However, it does pick up at the end of the story. All the characters are well written and it is DARK at times. So be prepared! If you like Darkish reads than this is the story for you.
***I was given a copy of this book for an honest review. This plays no part in how I feel about this book.*** ( )
