This book ran the gauntlet of emotions for me. There were times I was happy, teary, turned on, mad and anxious. Ace was a pretty complex guy. Trying to clean up his life and be the person his daughter needed, but the MC president just wouldn't let him go. I loved the relationship between him and Janelle. Both were damaged from previous relationships and we're doing their best to avoid the same mistakes. Looking forward to Tiffany's book.

I'm thoroughly enjoying this series, Ace and Janelle's story is a great addition.

They met in book 1. Ace, who is a MC hitman, has been looking out for Janelle (a night club stripper and lap dancer) ever since that meeting, behind her back. She has a 12 year old son, and her job is causing problems for him. Ace has a pre-school daughter who is being raised by her grandmother, and he hopes to gain custody. They both know their lives must change.

The sex is sleazy and dirty with light bondage, and there's swearing, violence and a great ending. This a story of two people who needed to find each other to better their lives.

I'm looking forward to the the next book in this exciting series. ( )

Ace and Janelle meet through unfortunate circumstances in book one of this series and both feel a spark of dark chemistry despite those original circumstances. He is a motorcycle club hitman and she is a stripper. She has a 12 year old son and he has a pre-K daughter being raised by someone else, though he wants custody. Both have lived hard lives and see something in the other that might complete and make them whole…if they can find a way to make it work.

There is violence, foul language and graphic sex with elements of bondage. This is not a light happily ever after simple romance but one that is edgier with deeper conflicts and potential for having two people find their happily ever after.

I will say this is not for everyone BUT I am a sucker for the bad boy – bad girl finding their happily ever after and did thoroughly enjoy this book. I look forward to finding out what might happen in the next book in this series…I have a feeling it MIGHT be the turn of Tiffany and Rex next…and what a combustible combination they should be! ( )
