Lt. Ann Pearce was assigned to the 78th Station Hopsital during World War II, and used her diary and letters to write this memoir. She served with the78th in Bizerte, North Africa, Maddaloni, Italy and southern France. Her hospital was bombed in North Africa and she attended a performance by Bob Hope.

An outstanding work of British Commedy!! I have watched many times on PBS and finally decided to purchase when the price was discounted. I will definitely watch each episode many times in the future. ( )
