Fiction. Romance. Humor (Fiction.) HTML:In a juicy read hailed by bestselling author Stacey Kennedy as “perfectly sweet, sexy, and fabulously fun,” a bad boy shows a straitlaced law student how to slow down and savor the good things.

Everly: My life so far has been one crazy blur. I can’t believe I’m about to graduate from law school and I haven’t even completed a single one of the meaningful, can’t-miss experiences my grandmother left for me in a bucket list. Then I meet Max Levin. Loaded and cocky, he is so not my type. In other words, he’s the perfect guy for the first item on my grandmother’s list: Go out with someone you’d never give the time of day.

Max: Inheriting my father’s adult entertainment company may not be every dude’s dream (scratch that, it probably is), but I’m not complaining. It’s just that until I meet Everly Parker, I had no idea what I was missing. She’s sweet, she’s ambitious—and she makes me wonder what the future might hold if I choose a normal relationship over the family business. The more the pressure mounts, the more I want to run away with Everly. Because being with her is the wildest ride of all.

Rush was a fun, surprising New Adult read that I would recommend readers to check out. I loved the message of this book. It reminds readers to pursue their own happiness and true passion. And, most important, to never judge a book by its cover. So if you are looking for a book that has so much depth, then I would suggest you to read Rush.”—Four Chicks Flipping Pages

I kind of devoured this book today. I received it from NetGalley in exchange for a review. It comes out this July. I started it around 3 and couldn't put it down. Thank goodness for metro delays (up to a point that is) as I was able to finish the book on my way home instead of having to wait.

Everly is in her last semester of law school and lives a fairly straight edged boring life. She meets Max Levin in a cafe and thinks he's hot but waaaaaay not her type. Max is a porn mogul. Heir to the throne at his dad's porn empire. Definitely not Everly's cup of tea. But Everly goes out with him anyway and discovers life beyond her books while Max discovers life beyond T&A. I admit I was a little wary about reading a book set partially in porn land but Gordon handled it well. I found it to be well researched, tasteful and respectful. And legit hilarious at times which the characters speak to. Anyway, I fell in love with Everly and Max and a little bit with Max's dad. I also want more of Everly's roommates and not so secretly hope that Gordon writes two more books. The book had the usual romance tropes (fall in love fast, get in a big fight towards the end over a misunderstanding, make up) but I wasn't annoyed. I thought the book was well written, sexy, funny and thoughtful. It was definitely a surprise and I highly recommend it!

I thought this one was awesome! The premise of the book is great and I fell in love with Everly and Max right away. Don't let the fact that Max is heading up porn empire fool you. The book is so much more. Yes, there are tons of red hot sexy times but the core story is a true romance. When do gooder
Everly Parker and porn king Max Levin first meet there are definite sparks but she has no time and she's not his type. Then why can't he get her out of his mind. When he finds out she has a bucket list she's determined to complete, he seizes the opportunity to spend some time with her and help her complete it!

I think everyone will enjoy this one, I definitely recommend it. ( )

This is a book I could not put down once I'd started it was that good, I was hooked.
Everly Parker is a young woman working hard to become lawyer, she is in her last semester at law school and hasn't had any free time for a while now to just go out and enjoy life.......in a nut shell, her life is dull and boring.
But life begins to look up when she meets Max Levin, and she's blown away because he's so hot. Max is heir the throne of his dad's porn empire and he's finding himself bored with it all just lately, he needs a change. When he meets Everly he starts to feel things he hasn't felt for a long time. When he see's her 'bucket list' left to her from her grandmother, he see's an ideal opportunity to spend time with her.....and to may be look in to this attraction more.

This is a sexy book but it also is very amusing a times. The look into the porn industry was very eye opening but I found the story telling to be open and tasteful.
Max was a pleasant character, he really cared for Everly, protecting her when ever he could and boosting her confidence when he thought she needed it. Everly didn't have enough confidence in herself, she was also a bit of a loner which needed changing.
I throughly enjoyed this story, it was well written, had great characters with a very entertaining, and fun storyline. 5/5 ( )
