Richard Derus wrote a better review than I ever could. I will say that this was the best WV literature I have read in some time. Deep characters, setting that captures the reality of the land, and stories that paint humanity in a gritty, desperate struggle with loss that really reflects so much of WV. ( )

This review has moved to Expendable Mudge Muses Aloud so you'll see the whole story-by-story glory of it.

Plus it's NOW $1.99 ON KINDLE so romp on over there for a great Saturday afternoon's stuck-to-the-sofa read. ( )
