It's marketed as a horror movie (and some scenes certainly are), but it's more of a dark, surrealistic fantasy and still so much more than that. A dreamlike, tender coming-of-age story with two exceptional and brillant main actors - Charlotte Burke and Elliott Spiers (rest in peace, dear). She has never acted again after this movie and he comitted suicide at the age of 20, which makes the feel of this movie even more melancholy. The beginning makes me dream, the middle shiver and the end bawl my eves out every time. Highly recommended if you can get your hands on a copy! ( )
