COMMENTS: This is the 2nd story in the Outback Knights trilogy and focuses on Mitch Tyler & Kathryn Ledger. They meet in the first book when Ric, Kathryn's boss, contacts Mitch his friend from Gundemarra to help him w/ Lara and her abusive husband. Kathryn is engaged & as far as she is concerned everything is hunky dory… until she notices Mitch and begins to see how caring he is. Her fiance is very ambitious and his step up the corporate ladder is priority. This soon becomes all too evident to Kathryn and she breaks it off w/ her fiance. He is not happy w/ this and becomes very controlling. Fortunately Mitch is around and they develop a friendship. Mitch is very wary about moving their friendship to anything else since he just had a relationship w/ someone who was not faithful and wants Kathryn when she is emotionally free. A nice second entry.
