This is book three of the series. However, unlike the first two this book focuses on a new couple, Adriano and Camilla.

This is my favorite in the series so far. Adriano is all that and a bag of chips. Together he and Camilla have a ton of steam and have dirty talking down to a science. They are dysfunctional but it somehow works for them.

Highly recommended. This author's writing style has come so far. This book has all the parts of what makes a good Mafia romance. ( )

I was given an ARC copy of this book by the author in exchange for an honest review. That in no way changes my views or opinions written below.

I will start with saying- I have not read the first two books in this series, nor anything else by Soraya Naomi. However, I was not lost by jumping into book 3, and look forward to reading book 4 (For Cam), when it is released. And now that I am addicted to this Mafia series, I intend on reading the first two books as well. I enjoyed Soraya’s writing style, and was deeply immersed in For Adriano.

The beginning starts off with some flashbacks, but it helps pull the story together perfectly. It does switch POV between Adriano and Camilla, or Cam, as she prefers to be called, which does not bother me. You start each chapter knowing whose POV you are reading from, so there is absolutely no confusion.

Camilla is lonely, down to a few dollars, and tired of being on the run from two mafia groups. But who can she trust anymore? She is done looking over her shoulder, and knows either way; she is going to end up dead. She escaped Fat Sal for quite some time, but he’ll eventually find her. Camilla wants to return back to the Loop, to the Syndicate, but will they believe that she did not mean to detonate that bomb?

Adriano, the sexy, handsome, mafia man…. Can Camilla trust him enough to help her out, or will he turn her over to his boss, James? James is intent on finding her, but his reasons are not quite what you expect.
The sexual attraction and tension between Camilla and Adriano is beyond hot! They finally cave to their urges; until James declares Camilla is off limits. It took Adriano years to finally have her, and now he is strictly forbidden to have any type of relationship with her. Going against James is not an option, but neither is giving up Camilla.

Camilla is a strong woman (only the strong survive), and Adriano is very alpha-male; both qualities that kept me intrigued. It was almost a battle of the wills throughout this book. You will even be pleased with the twist Adriano throws out at the end. Thankfully, this book does not leave you hanging; however, I still look forward to the next book in this series (as well as reading book 1 and 2).

Definitely a 5 star read in my book!
