A truly wonderful end to the series.

Piper and Coop's love-hate relationship is completely engaging and thankfully devoid of the ridiculous shenanigans that marred some of the earlier books.

Piper is feisty and independent with a ingrained sense of integrity that shines through every interaction. Coop is obviously an alpha male determined to win at all costs and used to getting what he wants. Of course, these two clash at first sight, and their banter is laugh-out-loud funny. Their chemistry is off the charts and keeps you turning the pages.

This installment even includes a minor mystery for those who enjoy a little suspense with their romance.

In sum, one of the best conclusions to a series ever. ( )

Very nice addition to the series. The best part was the zaniness of the heroine and the banter between her and the hero. The writing was stellar as always from SEP. The plot was solid and it all held together and made sense. ( )

4.5 stars. I love the Chicago Stars series. I had trouble putting this down. It also encouraged me to go back and read Match Me If You Can (Annabelle and Heath's story) again. ( )

Overall I enjoyed this, but it was also ridiculous! Coop was a dick the majority of the book and I don't see the appeal, I'm still doubtful that Piper is not actually a nutcase after all, and there were a ton of short subplots that I still don't understand why they happened. ( )
