This book is a detailed biography of the life of Sacagawea. It's written for younger readers; with great explanations and pictures. Readers will learn about Sacagawea's childhood, marriage, and her time with The Corps of Discovery. I appreciate the illustrations that depict what life was like in the 1800's, as well as the photographs that show artifacts and reenactments. Very interesting read about an amazing Shoshoni woman.
