Veronica Mars: The Complete First Season by Rob Thomas (Lucky-Loki)
Lucky-Loki: The strong-willed, if physically unimposing seeming, female investigator who hides her kind heart behind a veneer of hostile sarcasm, struggling with past trauma while doing witty noir voice-overs. One might be a superhero (technically) and the other in high school, but there should be a lot for fans of one to like in the other.… (more)

While there were a few episodes that felt like they dragged on a bit this was an interesting watch. Jessica Jones is a PI and also a minor superhero, she's strong and can leap long distances and survive falls that would kill others. In her past she was ill-treated by Killgrave and he still wants her in his life. She's the only one who he fell for and didn't obey his every whim. His determination will kill.

I liked it and the characters were interesting. ( )

A private eye has super powers.

There isn't enough story for more than three or four episodes. Most of the season is spent running in circles, repeating variations on the same plot points. And the ending has no payoff to justify the time spent getting there; it could just as easily have happened in episode three as in episode thirteen. And it's usually too dark to be fun. All that aside, it's a very well-made show. And the character has a lot of potential to be great - for instance, if they'd put her in a context where she's more of a contrast, rather than just surrounding her with more misery.
