Okay, first off this book purposely sabotaged itself for me within the first two pages.
The cover (and the avenger line up) promised me Spider-Man, the Human Torch, and Deadpool all on the same team. But Spidey walked off the team in the first couple of pages and never returned. I'm not a happy bunny.

And what's with the wobbly arms and legs in the first few issues.

This was an average book, nothing that great. This is a new team with Old Man Rogers who put the team together and Rogue as team leader in the field. We have Deadpool, Johnny Storm, Quicksilver, Dr. Voodoo, and a new inhuman hero Synapse. We also get a few appearances of Cable in this issue to help with villain.

There mission is to hunt down the Red Skull and Sin and to stop any plans he has. This is a newly formed team with some heroes who are new or haven't been on a team before.

I like Deadpool and he provides comedic fun and weird antics. I also like Rogue and Johnny and Quicksilver can have his good moments. The rest are new to me or I haven't read much of them.

This book is off to a good start and I want to see more of what this team has to offer. But I can understand why people might not like this, because it doesn't have the normal avengers or X-men that people are used to, but the team has potential.

I will read Volume 2 to see what happens next. ( )
