Has a glaring flaw I hate about comics in general which is the convoluted jumble of issues packaged together in a loose “volume.” This has a few mildly intriguing Batman + Damien issues and then it’s just a random assortment after that of Batman + Tim or just Batman stories. And it has this weird non-ending epilogue issue. ( )

This collection centers around Batman and the boy that Talia Al'Ghul claims is their son, a genetically-perfect, hyperviolent boy named Damian. Good stories and excellent artwork, though I had occasional trouble figuring out how some of the stories fit into the timeline.

Was not expecting the super-creepy Joker short story in the middle. Why does it always have to be clowns?! ( )

This is a "deluxe" of two storylines, "Batman and Son" plus "The Black Glove". The softcover version is titled "Batman and Son" (ISBN 1401244025) and the hardcover version is titled "The Black Glove" (ISBN 1401233368). It should NOT be combined with the one-storyline "Batman and Son" (different ISBN) or the one-storyline "The Black Glove" (different ISBN).
