(c. 1890); 40 pages (printed on card); with 12 delightful full-page chromolithographs and 13 small black & white sketches in text, plus decrative title-page; original decorative green cloth, gilt (with picture of St.Paul's Cathedral in black, blue & gilt, and gilt title on front), a.e.g., each page of contents on linen mount; some rubbing to head and tail of spine, and on corners, very slight rubbing to edges, Green cloth cover, rear endpaper beginning to crack, but sound, and a hint of browning to contents in places (mainly marginal), otherwise a very nice copy indeed. No inscriptions. Facsimile signature of author at end of text. A lovely book, of which a better copy would be difficult to find. ( )
