Stories of an Everyday Pilgrim by contemplative Christian Esther Hisza is a truly wonderful book of essays and poems. She is gently mocking, completely ordinary, deeply loving and willing to take all sorts of risks with her faith. Though it is many years since I have been a Christian, I find humour, comfort, encouragement, and insight throughout her book.
