Fen is now Hunter's mate, they left behind Fen's pack to search for bloodlings together. After a month of setting free the caged and abused wolves, Fen receives a letter that her dad has passed and Hunter talks her into attending the funeral, but when she saw her mom after a decade she couldn't make her feet take the final steps.
