I received this ARC in returned for a honest review and book 2 just blew me away! Fen is now Hunter's mate, they left behind Fen's pack to search for bloodlings together. After a month of setting free the caged and abused wolves, Fen receives a letter that her dad has passed and Hunter talks her into attending the funeral, but when she saw her mom after a decade she couldn't make her feet take the final steps. Sh returned to the car and he drove her to a hotel not uttering a word. The next morning she awoke to find that he had left her without a word of where he was then she find a paid receipt besides a key and she quickly packed but headed in the opposite direction of his rental car's GPS address... Fast paced and always relevant, this installment is just as moving as the rest. Childhood issues are faced, and life becomes ever more complicated for Fen. See publisher's blurb for clues, but read this one for yourself!
