I received a free advanced review copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review. The setting of this book is New Mexico and Arizona. I enjoy reading about the Southwest as I grew up reading everything I could find written by Zane Grey. I enjoyed the back and forth interactions between Camie and Ryan especially the references and quotes from movies to fit their situations. Camie has a pet cat, Tiger, who becomes a part of their adventure as they hunt for a stolen device, a missing man, and treasure. There is humor and there is suspense. This was an enjoyable and well-written book. The characters are well developed. I hope the author writes more books about Camie, Ryan, and Tiger, the fearless cat, as I would like to see how their relationship develops. This was a fun read. ( )
