Get Shorty: Also re-watched the movie. What was Danny DeVito doing as Michael Weir? The book of course works much better, it is enlightening that even when a book is based on a movie script the novel does it better. *****

Rum Punch: This is probably the first time I can write this, but the film improved upon the novel. Cutting most of the gunrunner stuff helps, but mostly making Max and Jackie relationship unrequited changes the story greatly. *****

Out of Sight: Not sure I can believe the character of Karen Sisco. Classic zippy Leonard plot of long and short and dumb cons. Have never seen the film, will take that on next. ***

Tishomingo Blues: The double-cross takes place during a Civil War reenactment, and features a fading high diver at a Mississippi casino. I am sorry this is the last in the series. ****

Averages out to 4.25, I'll round up. ( )
