This book combines the two novellas [b:Destroy Me|13623150|Destroy Me (Shatter Me, #1.5)|Tahereh Mafi|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1340398466s/13623150.jpg|19226840] and [b:Fracture Me|17331518|Fracture Me (Shatter Me, #2.5)|Tahereh Mafi|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1383413233s/17331518.jpg|24034803], with the special bonus of "Juliette's Journal" at the end.

I was fascinated by Warner's emotions and thoughts. He seems to feel as deeply about everything as Juliette, even though he's hiding all those very very well in front of everyone, who comes close to him. Not his soldiers nor his own father suspects any of it. [a:Tahereh Mafi|4637539|Tahereh Mafi|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1444252799p2/4637539.jpg] once again dragged me into her apocalyptic world. This time through the eyes of the two men, who seem to fight the most for her attention, emotions, and affection.
In comparison, I was more in awe with Warmer's story, than Adam's. Even though the outcome of Jame's whereabouts were calming. ( )

Why am I still reading this series? Why does controlling and not communicating and just generally being a jerkface behavior qualify as romantic in YA? Why does it need to be a superpower thing *and* a dystopian thing? Why is the dystopia so half-baked?

Can I have a dystopian thing where the protagonist has a healthy relationship? ( )

Destroy Me:
I had no idea Warner was so troubled.
Fracture Me:
Well, this novella gave me a whole new insight into Adam's head, and it made me like him less.
Juliette's Journal:
The writings of a tortured soul made beautiful by Tahereh Mafi's hand. ( )

I enjoyed this two novellas a lot. I liked Warner's story more than Adams just because I feel like there's more emotion from Warner than Adam. Mafi has a way of writing feelings and telling a story that draws me in and makes me feel what her characters feel 100%. The biggest accomplishment of these two novellas was make me realize just how addicrted I am to these books and how much I can not wait to read the final book, Ignite Me, even though I know it will be the end of the series.
