I'm quite happy with this book. Complex stuff I didn't understand explained. Rather dated but still.

While the book "is better than the existing DocBook documentation, the book's introduction to using the [DocBook document type definition] leaves a lot to be desired." However, it "serves its purpose nicely, and will help satisfy those in need of a practical reference guide."
