  1. GrannyBeela recommends Primal Needs by Susan Sizemore, "a good read in my opinion, she writes likes I believe she can see the things happen. With pizazz! Try this book and you may come back for more in this (see more) series"

These sisters are funny. Things just never seem to go their way - due to being half - fae and half-human. But in this book, we follow Delilah who is half- were. But she doesn't turn into a big beautiful cat, she turns into a small little, yellow tabby cat. But that doesn't dampen her instincts or her fighting power.

Yasmine Galenorn's series here is incredible. The worlds that she has created to be paralle of Earth is quite interesting and it seems that OtherWorld is having probs of their own. So with all the sisters Earthside they have to try and keep the peace here. But of course, with a little romance and tons of action - this book turned out really good. Even with all the little Spiderlings and such creatures trying to wreck havoc on Earth to take over.

Her characters are fun and loveable. You just cannot help but to love the D'Artigo sisters, even when they just can't get a break from killing demons to save people and themselves. It was a little slow in the beginning, but I stuck with it and after a short period found I couldn't put it down, I just had to know what was going on! The plot was amazing, but in the end everything kind of fell nice and neat into place!

So I'm really looking forward to reading the next book in this series (and they should be read in order, as to avoid any confusion) - Darkling. ( )

Changeling was a fun read. There were slight inconsistencies here and there, but nothing that would make me put it down. The storyline was well thought out, and exciting. It was interesting to see Galenorn switch the viewpoint of the book from the eldest sister to the middle sister, but it seemed to work. Kudos to Galenorn for keeping all of the facts straight and remembering what things happened to whom, and who else knew about them. Quite a challenge that Galenorn pulled off very well. ( )

I hoped that the weaknesses of the first book in this series were flukes and would be remedied in this volume. Sadly, I was mistaken. The dialogue is still unrealistic and painful to read, the characters still sleep around unnecessarily and the author still focuses heavily on name brands and costume changes. In addition, there are several inconsistencies between the books, such as which sister is the youngest and the eye color of one character. However, this series is not entirely without merit. The fantasy world the author paints is interesting and the action moves along at a fast clip. This book was a quick read, thankfully. ( )

Second in Galenorn's Sisters of the Moon series, about three half-human half-faerie sisters. The first book was narrated by Camille, a witch. This one is narrated by Delilah, a werecat and private eye. Once again they have to foil the demon lord Shadow Wing who is looking for one of the spirit seals. In this case he uses a clan of werespiders who are killing a clan of werepumas who have the seal.

It is a fun and magickal book, like the first one. The characters are well-drawn and quite varied, including the terrific Smokey the Dragon. Recommended.

We're the D'Artigo Sisters: Half-human, half-Faerie, we're savvy--and sexy--operatives for the Otherworld Intelligence Agency. But our mixed-blood heritage short-circuits our talents at all the wrong times. My sister Camille is a wicked-good witch whose magic is as unpredictable as the weather. My sister Menolly is a vampire trying to get the hang of being undead. And me? I'm Delilah. When I'm under stress, I transform into a tabby cat--and a series of violent murders is really getting me bent out of shape...

"Someone's been slaughtering the Weres of the Rainier Puma Pride, and my sisters and I have been enlisted to investigate by Zachary Lyonnesse, golden boy of the werepumas. Right away we smelled demon trouble, and we tracked it directly into the snare of the Hunters Moon Clan, sworn enemies of Puma Pride. But there's more than Were rivalry at work. It's that old demon Shadow Wing who is setting a deadly snare for the pumas. We have to find out why, which means a visit one to of the Immortals. Unfortunately, for my sisters and me, our half-human blood is just enough to put us in mortal danger." "At the Wayfarer Inn, a portal to Otherworld and the local hangout for humans and beasties alike, our fellow operative Jocko's been murdered. Every clue points to Shadow Wing, the soul-munching, bad-ass leader of the Subterranean Realms. He's made it clear that he aims to raze humankind to the ground, turning both Earth and Otherworld into his private playground. Our assignment: keep Shadow Wing and his minions from creeping into Earth via the Wayfarer. The demons figure they're in like Flynn. After all, with only my 'bumbling' sisters and me standing in the way, how can they miss? But we've got a secret for them: faulty wiring or not, nobody kicks ass like the D'Artigo girls."
