The water in the illustrations exactly matches the water in [b:Hey, Water!|57641902|Hey, Water!|Antoinette Portis|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1623118460l/57641902._SX50_.jpg|64201423]. Not surprising, since it's the same illustrator, but still fun to spot. ( )

A lovely book with a simple message. Pay attention to what is happening right now, not the past or the future, just NOW. ( )

A brown-skinned girl tells the reader her favorite things of the moment in loose rhyme, and there's a gentle twist at the end, where the final picture shows the girl in her mother's lap, reading a book together: "And this is my favorite NOW / because it's the one I am having / with you."

What a great philosophy to introduce to children, although honestly, I think children could teach adults a thing or two about living in the Now.

Beautiful illustrations and a simple tale of a girl sharing her favorite things with the reader. Turns out, her favorite rain, tree, hug, everything, is what is happening right now. We all need to appreciate the Now a little more. I loved this book's celebration of everything that is wondrous right now, because it is now. ( )

Really nice book - kids live in the NOW; adults need reminders ... ( )
