A pretty solid zombie apocalypse novel, follows the adventures of 3 groups of people as they navigate through the problems of a collapsing society and the spread of a new virus which causes corpses to reanimate.

Nice consistent pace, reasonably sensible actions taken by the protagonists, nothing too stupidly outlandish.

Ends on quite the cliffhanger with the group of people in a small town that the story has been following being attacked by mysterious outsiders. ( )
