As with a lot of the Ripley stuff, some of the things in this volume you have to take with a grain of salt. But there's a lot to entertain, here, as well, and the illustrations are quite often well done. This particular volume has some of the pre-1948 panels done in Ripley's lifetime, though some are rather later, and represent a bit of repackaging. (
