La poesía en verso libre es una forma intrigante y apropiada de desarrollar esta novela sobre una familia separada y reunida en la división Florida-Cuba. Contada a través de poemas que alternan entre las voces de la hermana y el hermano, Luza y Edver, vemos la historia de la misma familia desde dos perspectivas.
