Missy Piggy Winkle and the Sticky Finger Cure has a child with 2 "mamas" Skimmed the first three chapters to see how the reboot compared to the original. It's pretty faithful to the tone and style, but Missy's "cures" aren't the clever ones that Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle used to use (the radish cure, the slow eater tiny bite taker cure), but rather magical potions. I'm all for magic in books, but the charm of Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle rests on the cleverness of her cures - not magic. Disappointing. I do love Ben Hatke's art, though. no reviews | add a review
