A tiny book filled with amazing true anecdotes of the US Army prior to, during and after the Civil War. Mr. Farmer, in a fashion reminiscent of Berger's LITTLE BIG MAN, met with an incredible array of historic personages including Lincoln, Staunton, others. Longstreet's children were his playmates, he traveled on the anti-Mormon campaigns as well as the New Mexican campaigns. Buy this book! ( )
