That's true for Samantha Hainsley more than anybody else. An incident in her dorm has left her needing a new place to live, and that's when she finds the house on Overwatch Street. Sammy's new apartment is everything she dreamed of, but it's definitely not what she expected. Things go bump in the night, and Sammy has to figure out if there is a ghost haunting her or if it's something more sinister. Everything in Samantha's life seems to be coming together and falling apart at the same time. She'll have to solve the mystery of Overwatch house before the unknown consumes her. The final fight is one that will change her, and those she loves, forever. Will Sammy find the conviction she needs to survive her worst nightmare? The Attic Thanks to an amazing promotion, Sammy and John can begin renovations at Overwatch house. During demolition, they find a mirror in the attic that John wants to throw away, but Sammy seems to fall more and more in love with it every day. The only issue, the person in the mirror looking back at you isn't you. Demon Night When rumors about Samantha Hainsley's house go viral on the internet, her superiors learn that she involved a patient in her last "paranormal investigation." She loses her job and her nursing license. With no other career prospects, Sammie decides to turn the Overwatch house into a bed and breakfast. Running a haunted hotel sounds like fun until a body turns up, and everyone starts to suspect that Sammie might have bats in her belfry. On her own since the opening of her new Inn, Samantha is forced to make new friends and forge fresh alliances to solve the crime and escape the rattling chains of justice. In a surreal twist of fate, old "friends" appear just in time to ensure that the guests who came to experience The Most Haunted Bed and Breakfast in America get their money's worth. Demon Night is a ghost mystery/horror with no explicit scenes or gore. It's rated PG-13 for frightening themes. Pine Grove is book four in the Things That Go Bump in the Night series.
