Oh how I love this book!!!! Sarah is teaching me how to crochet again. It's just fabulous to see how many neat things you can do with yarn and crochet hooks! Again, amazing pictures, fantastic step by step guides. I love how they show you all these neat patterns for squares and then show you what you can do with color. Fantastic book for anyone who loves to crochet! ( )

One of the best crochet books on the market for those who love the "granny afghans" Easy to follow and suberb photos throughout. Love the combination of different squares that compliment each other. A crochet bible that I always return too. ( )

I love crocheting. That being said, I love this book. I find the instructions really easy to follow, and there are tons of great patterns in this book. There are not 200 different patterns (towards the end it becomes one pattern in four colors). There are probably well over a hundred patterns in this book, and I've had a lot of fun mixing and matching them. This is a great book for crocheters that need projects that are easily portable. A single square doesn't take up much space, and you won't need to lay them all out until your ready to stitch them together. These patterns can also be transformed. I've made a few scarves from the patterns in this book. ( )

This is a great resource for crocheters. The book contains some basic instruction, then it breaks into a parade of colorful squares to crochet. The squares have difficulty designations beside them, making it even easier to choose which ones to use. The book also includes mix-and-match options for squares to use with the one you are working on. Design an afghan like you would design a quilt, block by block. There are infinite possibilities when using these blocks. I give this book 2 hooks up!!! ( )
