I think it's a good retelling except for my favorite part of the Odysseus'/Ulysses' story which is the end. I don't think the final challenge set for Penelope's suitors was handled well enough in this version. I like it a bit more drawn out. ( )

This is a retelling of the Odysseus legend geared to an upper elementary-age audience. (No illustrations.) It takes 10 years for Odysseus to reach home after the Trojan War, because he has angered Poseidon.
