Whitney was amazed she finally had a boyfriend, and was prepared for a new life with him in the siren night human world. And the fact he was a lead singer in a rock band in his free time wasn't bad, either. Too bad having a boyfriend didn't mean she was going to see him, as his father's punishment included separating them. Whitney is certain she can handle it, but sure enough, that isn't the only wrench thrown into her new life. There's a new threat in town, a scarier one than the backstabbing siren clan she's part of now. They are night human hunters, and Whitney is an outlawed night human breed. Could her luck get any better? Quiet and peaceful would be ideal, but that's not what she's about to get.… (more)

First off. ...if you haven't read any of this authors previous Night Human series, you may want to check them out first to get acquainted with the world building. If you've already read the other books and book 1 of this awesome series then buckle up! We see Whitney grow into her siren abilities. ...true to form Sams evil brother Tim causes trouble. ...how to keep Whitney safe when Sam himself is ordered to remain underwater by his overbearing dad. Whitney is left alone on shire as her friends have been ordered to act as servants to her archnemesis Amber. Curious siblings show up to the school and befriend Whitney in her time of need. There's something unique about them. ...she just doesn't know what it is. All kinds of supernatural mayhem occurs. ...who will come out on top? Will Sam and Whitney's love reign supreme? Will the King realize what a jerk he's being? ....(don't hold your breathe) ...I can't wait to see what happens next! I'm LOVING this surprise faction in the Night walker realm. Looks like within the siren faction there's still a huge amount for us to discover along with Whitney. Personally I'm also hoping we may see her BFFs from the previous Night walker/Daywalker books show up in the future. She and Prince Sam are quickly becoming a force for good and a force to be reckoned with. ...keep an eye on Jade/Jax. ..I think we may be seeing them in future books . After all, one can never have enough friends or allies. Long live Prince Sam and Whitney! ! ( )
