Found this quite compelling to watch. There are some questions from different parties as to the veracity of the story so I'm not labelling this as fiction or non-fiction, I had known some of the bald outlines of this, that Wonder Woman was created by a professor from a college who wanted a good rolemodel for girls and women as most of the women in comics up to that point were plot tokens or background. He wanted a strong woman character and he created one. His personal life was apparently complicated and there are bondage elements in some of the stories. However it did come from a period of time where routine physical punishment was regarded as normal, advertising features women being put over the lap of a man, films also featured this as normal; however this was a woman putting women over her lap and men as well. A subversion of norms which opened up questions.

It's interesting but I'm not sure I'd watch it more than once. ( )
