Through an inexplicable bit of time travel, on the day of his high school graduation Kinichiro Imamura wakes up in the body of his younger self on the first day of his sophomore year. A shunned loser the first time around, he toys with using this second chance and his knowledge of the future to change his entire high school experience.

This Groundhog Day ripoff gets off to an amusing start as Imamura finds himself getting involved in the school ouendan club, a sort of pep squad that often works with the cheerleaders to rally school spirit despite a deep rivalry between the two groups.

The time travel aspect is almost irrelevant, being a hook the creator used simply to get approval for his fun tale of high school club politics. ( )
