I’m being a bit generous and rounding my rating up a bit. This is probably more like a 2.75ish read, for me. This is basically a Pretty Woman fantasy story, and that’s fun but I didn’t really like the character of Victoria all that much, and I never got much out of the relationship between them beyond lust. This is obviously not trying to be in the realm of realism, but Victoria going to what felt like a 180 in the end wrt, (kinda spoilers) patronage, felt a bit odd. It was fine though, the writing style wasn’t really for me and felt a little clunky in places but it was kind of a quick mildly entertaining read. ( )
