With large, color photographs and two to five sentences per page, this book reveals a variety of facts about the special kind of corn that is popcorn -- from planting, growing and harvesting to preparation and packaging the popcorn to the physics that produce a popped kernel. The photos make this a good preschool book for a fun popcorn unit, and the text is interesting to elementary-age children.
