My favourite of the series so far ( )

If you've read the other Gold Valley series novels, you know how AMAZING these characters are and were dying to see what would happen...IF...yep, IF...I'll leave it at that. *ahem* After the last story ended with a particular (and painful!) splash of sorts, you were left with an unexpected cliffhanger...until now.

Seriously guys, this was SUCH a fun read. You couldn't help but cheer Bea on in her quest to better her self, save all the animals, and get her man. Grant it, the last was the least certain quest of the three, but with Bea anything is possible...even if it's an unknown area of expertise. Really, we talk about which characters we'd like to be "best friends" with in the bloggy world, and I would totally count her as one on my list. Then there's our man Dane, who despite his bada** persona, is really a good guy underneath it all. He just needed a little help, a little sorting out, and enough personal drive/desire to get his personal history in the past, while really reaching for his future. They BOTH had things to learn, feelings to process, and needs to be met, and while some had to be dealt with on their own, the rest of it was made for sharing...and oh when the fireworks fly, how they flew!

Recommended for adult fans of the series, as well as Contemporary and Western Romance readers. A definite addition to your summer reading list!

I had trouble getting past Beatrix's name. Her abd Dane work so well together. They are so busy trying to ignore each other, they make it obvious to everyone else of course.i laughed so many times at this book. I say the raccoon is my favorite character, though. ( )
