I absolutely love this author and her writing style. Yet, reading the blurb for this had me concerned. It was nothing like her other books. When I think gritty and intense I think of her. Not a comedic enemies to lovers type romance. Boy, was I wrong. This book had me laughing at times and ready to murder Warren myself.

Warren and Brinley were perfect together. Their feelings and dynamic were spot on. It was great to see that build. The anticipation at times was almost too much. Yet, it was also perfect because when that first moment was acted on... Good lord. This author gave us steam.

Great book. Definitely not a cookie cutter type book. ( )
