I am not normally a huge fan of MC romances, but this one was pretty good. I liked being able to get to know the characters before they come back together. They do have an age gap, but it is not as big of a gap as you would think. They are 21 and 26. It does feel as Saint is older at times. Everything moved very fast though when they came together. It was the first date and the next day they were talking about marriage and kids. The ending was emotional on this one though. I am excited to continue with the series 3.9 stars I wasn't sure what to expect when I started this book in regards to whether this was going to be a darker MC read or something on the lighter side. It was in the middle. There were certain things alluded to but for the most part, this MC was more in tune with their emotions. I did like how the relationship between Skylar and Saint progressed from friends to lovers. I enjoyed Saint more than Skylar in regards to his personality. Skylar at times drove me nuts with how she would get upset that people didn't do the things the way she felt they should have. Hammer was my favorite of the whole story. His love and devotion was everything that I imagine a rough Biker to be in regards to having a daughter. One of the things that did drive me nuts about this story was the mother. No one seemed to ever truly stand up to her including Skylar's brothers. Blocking her number or removing all contact with her seemed out of character especially for a previous old lady. Generally, there would have been repercussions in an MC romance. However, that could also be because I was expecting more of the 1% type of MC book and this was definitely not that. Saint by Chantal Fernando Knights of Fury #1 Fairly tame New Adult MC romance that begins a new series. Skylar and Saint had a connection when younger but as she was too young at the time nothing came of it. Later, when she returns to the area, the chemistry is still there and they act upon it. They have some ups and downs but they are not huge and easily solved. The main problem is Skylar’s very narcissistic and evil mother who creates havoc often and in sometimes deadly ways. There is a HEA for Skylar and Saint as this publisher promises for all of their titles. Did I enjoy the book? Yes Would I read more in the series? I think so Thank you to NetGalley and Carina Press for the ARC – This is my honest review. 3-4 Stars no reviews | add a review

HTML:From the New York Times bestselling author of the Wind Dragons and Cursed Ravens MC series comes sinners, saints and secrets... Dear Skylar, Five years. That's a long time to go without talking to somebody, especially someone who was such a huge part of your life... A letter from my first kiss and my childhood everything...from prison. He may be nicknamed Saint, but this sweet, sexy biker most definitely has a wild streak. Hearing from him draws me right back into the Knights of Fury motorcycle club??the people I'll always think of as family. He's still the only man I've ever wanted. Each good, old-fashioned letter from my "prison pen pal" has my heart racing. Which is nothing compared to how I feel when Saint surprises me in person, as a free man. I was just a kid the last time we saw each other, but the connection between us now is anything but innocent. He's the type of man who would do anything to protect his woman. And with my world crashing down around me, that's exactly what I'm going to need. Overall Opinion:
I have read my fair share of MC biker series but this one, I wasn't able to resonate with. The characters and their 'connection’ was just about nonexistent and the storyline wasn't intriguing enough to keep me at bay. There wasn't anything particularly interesting about this read which lead me to drop the series.
