A new detective on the streets of Edinburgh. Actually two books in one. A likeable detective faces challenging cases. ( )

I was wanting to read something light, this Kindle Unlimited book was that. It includes the prequel The Labyrinth. However, a few days after finishing them both, I can barely remember what the books were about. For me, it was boring, and with an unlikely plot. I couldn't even connect with the characters. I don't mind potato chips for the mind now and then, but these potato chips were stale. ( )
