( ) This book shows how to be positive. Even on the worst of days, it is a message that is important to people of all ages. Even though everything in Kevins day goes wrong he is still choosing to find the positive things that happened underneath the bad. Finally when he realizes that the day is bad and he cannot make a bad day better, he shows that it is okay to have a bad day. Everyone has a bad day once in a while. I love that a "fairytale" shows a negative side of life. Most of the time fantasy books show the day, week, year, life, and give unrealistic expectations, this book shows what real life is like in a fantasy setting. The overarching theme is the ability to overcome even the worst of days. no reviews | add a review
