I’m a huge fan of anything involving criminal psychology and crime solving so I was thrilled when I read the synopsis for this book. It didn’t disappoint. Gregory is an intriguing character with a shadowy past who is trying to do good, something a lot of us can relate to. The crime was well thought out and not obvious to the reader until the end. I felt like I was actually solving the case with Gregory instead of waiting for him to catch up to what I knew. Great book for crime and detective novel aficionados. no reviews | add a review

Rather plodding, pedestrian, prose and 2/3 of the way through I'd already worked out who the murderer was. I'd also worked out the final big reveal early on. I might give her other series a go at some point, but I'm in no hurry to seek it out. ( )
