This was an interesting book, it took me a while to read and honestly a while to get into. It reminded me of the Robin Williams movie bicentennial man. Except this time it was “a kid “. It was just a different story. I’m still trying to process my thoughts about it. Kids who like sci-fi would probably like this. And I’m thinking this has some twist on human thought when it comesTwo artificial intelligence. I just don’t know if this gets my vote. ( ) Quinn is a 15 year old boy who lives with his Mom and younger brother Jackson. His Dad died when he was seven. He is living a pretty normal teen aged life until one day when he realizes...it's all a sham. He is an artificial intelligence and the world he lives in is a virtual construct. None of it is real. He's actually a computer that has been created by a team headed by the man he had thought of as his father. Quinn is programmed into a metal robot body, and then the fun begins. Quinn wants to prove he is a sentient being with the rights of personhood. He hires a lawyer and gathers some real teens around him to help. Will he get the personhood he desires? It's a fast-moving and thought-provoking tale. no reviews | add a review
