18 books, yes folks it took us 18 to get here. Each one has been a gift and this one is no exception!
Due to an "oopsie" by the publisher we knew who Con's mate was. (Let's face it, half the fans wanted it this way.) But we still had other questions that need answers and we needed to be rid of some villains that just didn't want to go away.
To see them come together it's hard to believe they were able to stay away from one another. We also get treated to how their love affair started. Donna does such a good job in describing it, I felt like I was there with her. I sort of understand why Con broke it off but damn! No wonder the rest of the Kings kept calling him a damn fool!
Remember the mysterious book with moving words. Rhi can read it. And what it says....WOW! Turns out to be Erith's journal. I can't my head around all the things she had seen, done and secrets she kept.
We get our epic battles. Our fae are finding neutral/common ground. And a whole hell of a lot of information that would be the perfect lead in to a new series.

I hated to see this part of the Dark World wrap up but it was done in such a way, I'll revisit them like an old friend and look forward to seeing what the new generation has in store for us. ( )
