Bible codes can be found in the Hebrew text of the Torah and the rest of the Old Testament, in the Greek texts of the New Testament, and possibly in the Greek texts of the Septuagint (Old Testament). As this video demonstrates, research in the equidistant letter sequence phenomenon in the Hebrew text reveals that the methods of finding such codes cannot be used to find encoded matrices that adequately predict the future. The astounding nature of the "Bible Codes" phenomenon lies in the great frequency of finding such matrices of related words regarding historical people, places, and events which postdate the writing of the Scriptures. It would seem that the phenomenon of the "Bible Codes" does indeed exist and its purpose is to emphasize to us that God is Omniscient and He inspired the mystery we call the Holy Scriptures. ( )
