I can't compare this to previous editions, and I can't say that I've read it cover to cover. I've certainly read quite a bit of it in detail (and will continue to read it over the following months, as we've just recently started playing.

Incredible background and hobby guides. I read the 6th edition and this is much, MUCH better! Anyone that is interested on the story of the Warhammer Universe will be pleased to read this book, even if you're not into the game itself. As a Sci-Fi fan I'm delighted by the rich story I just read! Kudos to Games Workshop for the fantastic edition! ( )
