This is a great book to have within your classroom as it represents young adults/preteens perspectives with calls to action about a range of environmental issues that are important for upcoming generations to learn about. Pollution, deforestation, biodiversity, climate change, wildfires, and much more are discussed within this book. Students can search through this book and see realistic truths about our earth, its condition and ways that they can help improve and not destroy it. I think this is a great book that could also be incorporated into lessons. Topics, such as pollution, deforestation and biodiversity, can be seen in TEKS across multiple grade levels and science classes. This is a great book to use to read within the class for each topic, use as a warm-up with follow up questions, introduction to a topic, used as a guide for students to create their own posters or tips about certain topics or just to have for students to be able to read and be inspired.
