After years of drama following the end of his motorcycle club, a no-strings fling with a mystery woman is exactly what he needs. Except as they find themselves together more and more, it's impossible for him to keep his feelings at bay. She's clever and sassy. She's gracious and kind. She loves riding on the back of his bike every Saturday afternoon and lazing in his bed every Sunday morning. She's the perfect woman.

Except she's Nova Talbot, the daughter of his archenemyâ??the man who murdered his father.

She saved the best for last.

This was everything that I have come to expect from this author and then a little more. From the first paragraph to the last I was 100% invested. It was filled with just the perfect balance of strong characters, angst, chemistry, and a plausible storyline.

Nova and Emmet had everything going for them at the same time all the odds against them which made the angst that much heavier. I felt for Nova and the position that she was in. Especially, as her heart truly loved her family. I cannot say more without giving away a major catalyst to the story other than I really did hurt for what she had to come to realize and how. Emmett was beautiful. I loved how he loved so completely and selflessly. I hurt for him too when everything came to a head. They both got shafted by what happened. Together, these two were spicy hot. I loved how bright they burned for each other, even when it was just supposed to be steam between them.

It was bittersweet to come to the end of this amazing series, especially, as I have loved these characters and their stories something fierce. I look forward to whatever this author has in store for me next though. I am sure it will be amazing. ( )
