One winter, a little girl and her grandmother rescue an injured yellow bird. They bring it inside Abuela's apartment where it heals in a cage, making short flights indoors when it's ready. Eventually, it is healed and ready to fly out the window. The little girl asks if they can keep the bird and Abuela explains why not, but meanwhile, she's building a bird house - so that the little yellow bird will always have a place with them when it returns. Illustrations are paper collage and digital. no reviews | add a review
